Silence

As long as you can remain silent,
you can pretend that nothing awkward happened.

Rise

I have seen people die,
And their families cry.
I have seen soldiers fight,
In the middle of a night.
I have seen people struggle,
And families stumble.
I have seen brave men fall,
Filled with youth and all.
I have seen the bloody war,
And stopped questioning what for?
I have seen the bodies and blood,
Mixed with the flow of mud.
They gave up their lives protecting our country,
And people said they just died abruptly.
My father always said, a soldier never dies,
And just like the breeze they rise through the skies,
Shining in front of our eyes,
Like the fireflies.

The Lost Change II

"Don't talk to me as if I am a complete stranger", he said to me after years,
Deep down inside I look for him in every stranger.

The Lost Change III

I dedicate this song to you, he said before our break up.
Years later that song is still on my most played list.

ECONOMICS HONORS

I am a student of Economics Honors
Trust me, it is not what it seems,
I could hear whispers of economists from all corners
It has destroyed the loves of so many teens.

It has no reality and only assumptions
from demand to supply,
from productions to consumptions
investments have rules difficult to comply.

The Marxist theory and views of Adam Smith
the concepts are so hard to deal with,
the international trade and financial markets
Lets assume there are only two commodity baskets.

Night

A LITTLE SOUND
A SILENT NIGHT
FEARLESS EMOTIONS
CLIMBING UP SO HIGH

Stays

It becomes your history,
actually your past for that matter.
You cannot erase it.
No one can erase it.

It stays with you all your life,
until and unless you are strong enough to lock it inside a small little corner of your heart and never open it.
Truth is that time can, no doubt, heal everything, but it cannot make you forget your past or what you had been through once.
It stays, maybe fades away with time,
but stays.
